A European online car finance broker was looking to improve capacity and efficiency by moving key applications to the cloud. Experiencing explosive growth, they needed a way to scale quickly to keep up with all the new business.
Solution
Source Code Control, a UnifyCloud partner, used Movere to collect data to conduct a CloudRecon® infrastructure assessment of the existing environment. This assessment generated a data-driven analysis of cloud migration options that included readiness, dependency, remediation guidance, level of effort, costs and ROI. CloudPilot® then helped Source Code Control provide insights on the complex infrastructure and deliver a structured migration plan for modernizing key customer facing applications in logical phases. The initial migration effort focused on 17 applications and 15 supporting databases.
RESULTS
This online car finance broker was able to migrate key workloads to the cloud in record time.
